Case Study: a major academic hospital improves leadership development with Chronus mentoring platform

A Chronus Case Study

Major Hospital expands mentoring to 1,500 participants with Chronus

Chronus helped a large academic hospital in Texas address the challenge of employee retention, growth, and connection across its diverse and hybrid workforce. The hospital had several established mentoring programs but was constrained by an in-house platform that limited scalability, measurement, and administrative efficiency. They needed a robust solution to make mentoring accessible and support their leadership development goals.

Implementing the Chronus mentoring platform provided customizable matching, ease of administration, and deep data reporting. This allowed the hospital to scale its programs significantly. As a result, participation grew to around 1,500 mentors, and the program achieved a 92% retention rate for participants versus 74% for non-participants, along with positive impacts on cross-department mobility, satisfaction, and advancement for underrepresented groups.
