How Jackson National Moved From a Pen Paper Tee Sheet and Into the Future With Chronogolf Business

Jackson National Golf Club, a public multi-course facility in Jackson, Tennessee, was struggling to run its operation with an old POS, Microsoft Office, and a pen-and-paper tee sheet. General Manager Dana Talkington needed a simpler, more reliable way to manage tee times, pro shop sales, and food and beverage operations, especially after their previous POS provider was acquired and support deteriorated.

Chronogolf, through the Lightspeed golf management platform, implemented a cloud-based, fully integrated solution including Lightspeed Golf, Lightspeed Retail, Lightspeed Restaurant, Lightspeed Payments, and ChronoPitch. The new system streamlined operations, improved email capture and marketing, made online booking easier for customers, and gave staff a more intuitive POS and better support. While no exact numeric metrics were provided, Jackson National said the change “revolutionized everything we do” and made managing both courses significantly easier.
