Classic Aviation, a national provider of private jet charters and helicopter services, had no standardized expense policies or reporting: employees used dozens of corporate cards and submitted expenses inconsistently (spreadsheets, paper, or not at all), leaving management with little visibility or control. The company needed an easy-to-use system to enforce receipt submission, policy compliance, correct GL coding and approval routing with minimal training for its mobile workforce.

Classic implemented Chrome River EXPENSE, building expense policies and approval rules into its Business Rules Engine, delivering online training and integrations with ADP, Quantum, QuickBooks and a US Bank Visa feed. The result was complete workflow automation—mandatory receipts, policy compliance and routed approvals—improved visibility and analytics, a one-FTE labor savings and the ability to close month-end by the 10th, plus responsive ongoing support.
