Case Study: American Cancer Society simplifies global marketing creation with CHILI Publish

A CHILI Publish Case Study

Preview of the American Cancer Society Case Study

Simplifying global marketing creation – one integration was all it took for the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society, a nationwide voluntary health organization, needed a better way to manage marketing creation across its 12 separate marketing departments. Its existing DAM setup was too rigid and slow, leading users to download files, copy and paste content, and create materials outside branding guidelines. CHILI Publish was brought in as the web-to-publish and artwork-building solution to add flexibility and support templated marketing production.

With CHILI Publish, the American Cancer Society introduced an “Artwork Builder” that let users customize approved templates with different colors, typefaces, layouts, and sponsor logos while staying on-brand. The result was a major boost in self-service and efficiency: more than 4,000 employees gained access, one-off job requests for Distinguished Events dropped from over 2,000 hours in 2015 to just 117 hours in 2019, and seven Discovery Shop templates replaced 400 PDFs, generating 630 customizations in only two months.
