Case Study: Just Between Us modernizes private chat with Chili Labs

Just Between Us modernizes private chat with Chili Labs using Flutter

Just Between Us, a company dedicated to strengthening relationships through its private chat app for couples, faced the challenge of an outdated Cordova-based application. The app required significant improvements to its user experience, interface, and performance while maintaining its core security features and ensuring a seamless transition for its existing user base. They partnered with Chili Labs to undertake a complete redesign and technological migration.

Chili Labs rebuilt the application from the ground up using Flutter, enhancing its performance, scalability, and visual design. The solution preserved critical security features like RSA encryption and introduced new privacy protections, including disabled screenshots and content-blurring. The result was a modern, intuitive app with a refreshed interface and improved content management, which provided a smooth, hassle-free update for users without any loss of data.
