Pike Electric, a Mooresville, NC–based provider of energy solutions, operates a fleet of over 10,000 assets across eight shops and mobile crews. The company struggled with multiple disparate maintenance systems and spreadsheets that prevented a consolidated view of fleet and asset data and hindered effective decision-making.

In late 2014 Pike implemented Chevin FleetWave, a web-based fleet and asset management platform accessible in shops and on mobile devices. FleetWave centralized vehicle and equipment records, maintenance, inventory, warranty, work orders and integrations with parts suppliers, finance and HR, and enabled electronic vendor invoicing—cutting roughly 15–20 hours of weekly data entry, improving accuracy, streamlining parts tracking and reporting, and delivering labor and operational cost savings and better decision-making.
