Chetu Upgrades Gate Controller Software to Increase Scalability

The client, Community Management Software, a Florida-based gate and community management software company, faced a significant scalability challenge. Their legacy gate controller application lacked the malleable database environment required to handle fluctuating occupancy rates for gated communities, and its buggy, weak processing power hindered growth. They partnered with Chetu for a software upgrade to overhaul this critical application.

Chetu developed a new manual generator tool anchored by an Apache CouchDB database, engineered to work cohesively with the client's preexisting architecture. Utilizing technologies including PHP, JavaScript, and the NetBeans IDE, the Chetu team built a scalable tree-view management system that allows administrators to easily add, edit, delete, and manage addresses and tenants. The solution successfully eliminated the shortcomings of the old software, providing a robust and unified system for managing access control, which the client was able to take to market immediately.
