Chetu Leverages Ingenico Partnership to Engineer EMV Upgrades

a transportation in-vehicle technology solutions company needed to upgrade its point-of-sale (POS) systems to achieve EMV compliance for its taxi service merchant customers. The challenge was to integrate a certified payment terminal that could accept mag-stripe, EMV chip, and contactless cards, thereby alleviating the liability shift from their customers. They partnered with Chetu to engineer these new, secure POS offerings.

Chetu researched and selected the Ingenico iPP 320 terminal for its compliance with required ISO standards and budget. The vendor programmed the terminals with all necessary application identifiers (AIDs) for maximum payment network compatibility and enabled offline batch processing for areas with poor connectivity. This solution from Chetu provided the client with a secure, reliable, and cost-effective EMV-compliant terminal, allowing them to expand their business offerings and reduce fraud liability for their customers.
