Case Study: a healthcare company achieves seamless Veradigm integration with Chetu

Allscripts EHR Integration Forges System of Checks and Balances

A healthcare company faced a challenge with system silos that were reducing end-user productivity. They sought to integrate the Veradigm (formerly Allscripts) EHR Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) with their existing software suite to foster interoperability and create a system of automated checks and balances for medical orders. They partnered with Chetu, an EHR-certified development vendor, to achieve this integration.

Chetu successfully integrated SCM v16.3 by developing a solution that linked it to the healthcare company's API using a Medical Logic Module (MLM) and a Dynamic Link Library. This allowed for a continuous dialogue between systems to validate physician orders against patient history. The project was an overall success for Chetu, enabling the healthcare company to now support three major EHR platforms and significantly widen their client base to include Veradigm users.
