Optivo, a major UK housing association, faced challenges with its outdated and unsuitable hybrid SharePoint intranet. They engaged vendor Chess ICT (through its Silversands division) for advice on implementing a new platform using Microsoft SharePoint Online.

Chess ICT delivered its Modern SharePoint Intranet Envisioning accelerator, a series of workshops that provided Optivo with the knowledge and guidance to build their own new intranet, named OptiNet. The solution was a significant success, with user surveys showing a major improvement in engagement. The Optivo comms team gained valuable experience and successfully delivered a more effective intranet.
