The State of Georgia needed to modernize a paper-heavy, manual procurement process across its many agencies and statewide contracts. CherryRoad Technologies was selected to implement Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise SRM, including eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contracts Management, eSupplier Connection, and the Supplier Portal, along with integration to the SciQuest catalog system.

CherryRoad Technologies delivered the solution on time and under budget, rolling it out to the State Purchasing Division and two additional agencies. The system replaced paper requisitions with electronic workflows, automated purchase orders, streamlined solicitations and vendor registration, and enabled online contract and vendor self-service; it went live in January 2009 and helped reduce ordering time and support needs, with the broader rollout plan completed in April and remaining agencies scheduled to come online by mid-2010.
