The County of Contra Costa needed to upgrade its HR, Benefits, and Payroll systems by several version levels while also helping employees build the skills to use the new tools. To address this challenge, the County selected CherryRoad Technologies and its systems implementation and training services, including a comprehensive needs assessment and upgrade planning.
CherryRoad Technologies delivered a phased solution that included process recommendations, data cleanup, a simultaneous server environment upgrade, and a customized training program for about 120 employees across 30 classes. The project was completed on time and on budget, payroll processing became smoother and error-free, and user satisfaction increased as employees gained a more convenient, integrated system for benefits and leave calculations.
