Best Western, the world’s largest hotel chain, needed a better way to improve HR reporting, automate manual HR tasks, and make employee information easier to access. The company was relying on legacy systems, hard copy records, and third-party platforms, which made reporting and data retrieval slow and cumbersome. CherryRoad Technologies was brought in to help Best Western with HCM project planning, fit/gap analysis, and implementation.

CherryRoad Technologies implemented a consolidated Human Capital Management system covering Human Resources, Base Benefits, Benefit Administration, and Payroll. The solution streamlined reporting, enabled HR staff to access employee data online, and helped Best Western eliminate about 85% of the originally identified gaps/customizations by changing processes instead of customizing software. As a result, Best Western can now generate management reports more easily, reduce manual work, and move toward a single source of workforce information.
