Good Eggs, a Bay Area online grocery delivery service, faced a rapid scaling challenge after moving to a fulfillment center four times larger and committing to fair chance hiring goals for local disadvantaged neighborhoods. To hire at volume without sacrificing candidate experience or compliance, Good Eggs partnered with Checkr to manage background checks and integrate screening into their Fountain ATS.

Checkr’s background-check platform — including pre- and post-adverse action features, a Fountain integration, and a Learning Center for compliance training — allowed Good Eggs to move multiple applicants through screening quickly and fairly. The result: a 48-hour turnaround, over 400 candidates interviewed and screened from a single job fair, routine throughput of 40 interviews/week (moving ~20 to checks), and the capacity to scale hiring 4x while maintaining compliance and improving fair chance outcomes.
