Bungii, a tech-enabled last mile delivery platform, needed a faster and more reliable way to onboard drivers as it scaled. Its previous background check process was slow, required manual data entry, and created gaps in reporting, while interruptions in the workflow also caused candidate drop-off. Bungii used Checkr’s Candidate Portal, Criminal Background Checks, and Driving Record (MVR) Checks.

Checkr integrated with Bungii’s existing hiring platform, Fountain, and automated the background check workflow to make it simpler and more transparent for both the Bungii team and candidates. As a result, average turnaround time dropped from about one week to 2–3 hours, a 98% reduction, and drop-off at the background check stage fell to virtually zero. Bungii also gained real-time visibility and reduced manual work, allowing its operations team to focus on higher-priority tasks.
