Case Study: Preem simplifies in-plant inspections with CheckProof

Fast implementation when CheckProof became Preem’s new in-plant inspection tool

Preem, Sweden's largest fuel company with refineries and depots, faced a challenge with an unwieldy and time-consuming digital system for its mandatory in-plant inspections. The previous tool was difficult to use and required carrying heavy devices, causing employees to spend more time on the system than on the actual inspections. Preem selected CheckProof as its new in-plant inspection tool after the vendor met its strict requirements, including an RFID function for checkpoint scanning and robust IT security.

The implementation of the CheckProof app was remarkably fast and smooth, with around 100 users becoming operational within months. The solution was highly intuitive and user-friendly, leading to eager adoption by staff. A key result was the ability for administrators to create and validate new inspection rounds in hours instead of days, significantly streamlining the process. Preem now uses over 124 active inspection rounds within CheckProof and plans to further digitize its operations with the vendor.
