Ultima Business Solutions, a U.K. IT services provider with a “cloud‑first” focus, needed to extend enterprise-grade protection to employee laptops when they left the office. While on‑premises firewalls protected devices at headquarters, roaming laptops had no visibility or consistent defense against zero‑day malware, malicious sites and risky applications—creating gaps in security and challenges for Ultima’s cloud migration and managed‑services offerings.

Ultima deployed Check Point Capsule Cloud, routing laptop traffic to the cloud for SandBlast zero‑day protection, URL/content filtering and centralized policy enforcement. Deployed via SCCM and integrated with existing Check Point management, the solution delivered immediate detection and blocking of threats for ~450 employees, invisible-to-user protection, centralized alerts and reporting, and the flexibility to enable safer personal app use and expanded managed services.
