A Check Point Software Case Study
Ramat-Gan, a city of 170,000 residents in Israel that’s absorbing an additional 50,000 people, embarked on a major digital transformation to replace aging communications, launch new citizen services and migrate systems to the cloud — all while facing constant cyberattacks and managing a fragmented, hard-to-maintain security stack. The municipality needed a scalable, easy-to-manage security platform that could protect sensitive resident data and withstand sophisticated threats without adding staff.
Ramat-Gan adopted Check Point’s Infinity Enterprise License Agreement and deployed Quantum security gateways, Harmony (endpoint, email, collaboration and mobile), Infinity XDR/XPR and CloudGuard for cloud protection, implemented in phases with professional services and centralized management. The consolidated solution accelerated rollout of a new website, wireless infrastructure, cameras and digital services, enabled secure cloud migration, reduced costs by avoiding staff increases, and gave the IT team confidence and peace of mind to expand services safely.
