TekJet, a Denver-based managed services provider for small- and medium-sized businesses, needed to add robust, scalable IT security to its existing remote management platform so it could offer consistent, centrally managed security services from its Network Operations Center. TekJet deployed Check Point’s Security Management Portal (SMP) with Safe@Office UTM appliances, enabling centrally managed spam filtering, antivirus/anti-spyware, web filtering, managed IPS, firewall management and VPN services. The integrated solution simplified deployment and support, improved service visibility with customizable reporting, drove nearly 100% customer retention, increased recurring revenues, provided a clear competitive differentiator, and supported TekJet’s rapid growth—today managed services are 95% of its business with plans to expand to more than 1,500 seats.
