Technology Innovation Institute Builds a Robust, Scalable Cyber Security Program

The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is an Abu Dhabi–based research center that brings together scientists and engineers to develop advanced technologies. As a relatively young, fast-growing organization with about 1,100 staff, TII faced tight budgets and a small security team and needed scalable, easy-to-manage protections—particularly AI/NLP-driven defenses for email, cloud collaboration, and productivity tools—to close security gaps without hindering productivity.

TII implemented Check Point’s platform—Harmony Email & Collaboration for AI-driven email and collaboration protection, Quantum Maestro for hyperscale network security, and CloudGuard for cloud and web application defense. The deployment stopped sophisticated phishing and malware attacks, delivered redundancy and on-demand scalability, simplified management through unified dashboards, and improved TII’s security maturity and operational efficiency while protecting cloud assets and web applications.
