Spring Branch ISD’s Journey To Enhanced Email Security

Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD), a Houston-area public school district, needed to strengthen its email security as phishing, spam, and malware increased and its older on-premise tools struggled in a cloud-first environment. The district was looking for a cloud-ready solution that could better protect staff and students while fitting its new setup; it chose Check Point Software’s Harmony Email & Collaboration.

Check Point Software implemented Harmony Email & Collaboration for SBISD, with a fast API-based rollout and simple integration into existing services. The district saw strong results, including 76,000 phishing attempts and about 3,200 malware instances blocked in the last 12 months, with reduced alert fatigue and easier management.
