SONPO Implements Zero-Day Protection in Successful File Transfer Offering with Check Point ThreatCloud API Integration

SONPO, a.s., a Prague‑based security, development and integration firm serving SMEs across industries, needed to protect clients from zero‑day threats delivered via email attachments and file transfers. Existing file exchange options lacked robust sandboxing, compliance guarantees, and support for large or diverse file types, so SONPO sought a tailored solution to secure its Safe On‑line File Exchange (SOFiE) service.

SONPO integrated Check Point ThreatCloud Threat Emulation API into SOFiE to sandbox and analyze suspicious files (including threats hidden in SSL/TLS) using AI‑based engines with a high catch rate across 40+ file types and multiple operating systems. The integration produced a differentiated, scalable file‑exchange offering that accelerated development, extended client defenses against unknown malware and zero‑day attacks, and helped prevent downtime for clients previously impacted by ransomware.
