SE2, a Topeka-based insurance technology and services firm that administers nearly 2 million life insurance and annuity policies and manages $100 billion in assets, faced the challenge of securing a rapidly changing, multi-account AWS environment (about 500 EC2 instances and hundreds of security groups) while preserving DevOps velocity and using the same team to protect both cloud and on‑premises workloads.
