RPS connects field consultants with flexible Check Point endpoint solutions

RPS is Ireland’s leading multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm with about 900 employees working from offices and in the field. Because staff regularly connect from offices, homes, client sites and airports, RPS needed secure, reliable and easy-to-use remote access so consultants and accountants could reach email, intranet resources and time-and-expense systems — but the IT team worried about unmanaged laptops, viruses and unauthorized software.

Working with partner Integrity Solutions, RPS upgraded its perimeter to Check Point VPN-1 Pro NGX on SecurePlatform and deployed Check Point Integrity SecureClient on company laptops plus SSL Network Extender for client machines. The solution enforces endpoint compliance (patches/antivirus), provides a centrally managed personal firewall, reduces helpdesk calls, and ensures timely, secure transmission of financial and project data while offering flexible access options for different user needs.
