A Check Point Software Case Study
The State of Puebla, Mexico—serving roughly 6.5 million citizens across 217 municipalities—launched the nation’s first formal digital government initiative to deliver about 116 fully digital services (≈13 million online visits in 2023) while running 85% of its infrastructure in the cloud. To maintain citizen trust and enable secure, convenient access, the state needed to replace aging cybersecurity tools and protect a hybrid environment spanning cloud workloads, on‑prem systems, endpoints and user access with centralized management.
Puebla adopted Check Point’s Infinity Platform—leveraging CloudGuard CNAPP, Check Point Code Security, Harmony Email and Collaboration, Harmony Endpoint and the Infinity Portal—to layer granular defenses across cloud, code, email and devices. The deployment delivered unified visibility and management, improved cloud security posture and daily reporting, the ability to block risky access, and operational flexibility to expand protections quickly, keeping citizen services secure and reliable.
