The company needed a scalable way to protect customer networks and web services while ensuring consolidation, redundancy, virtualization and easy centralized management.

P&T deployed its SecureConnect service built on Check Point VPN-1 Power VSX and Provider-1, with modular S-box installations and Crossbeam hardware for capacity and failover. The solution delivered centralized, remotely managed firewall and VPN services (WebAccess, RemoteAccess, NetworkAccess), high availability and instant fallback for stringent SLAs (including Luxembourg’s EU presidency), protected customer sites with minimal user involvement, and a scalable platform for future services like SSL VPN.
