Nihondentsu enforces secure mobile workplace to drive business growth

Nihondentsu is a Japan-based ICT consultancy serving 28,000 customers from 18 offices. As the company shifted to more agile, mobile ways of working, its legacy VPN deployment (installed in 2000) became unstable, could not handle rising traffic, and was complex to maintain—creating an urgent need for a scalable, secure, and easy-to-manage network link between branches without disrupting operations.

Nihondentsu deployed Check Point Next Generation Firewalls (700 Series), using pre-defined policies, rapid setup, and central management via the Security Management Portal, with local support from Takara Joho. The all-in-one solution delivered faster VPN and internet response, multilayered threat prevention, continuous visibility and automated reporting, simplified day-to-day security management, and helped the company expand services and win new business.
