Case Study: Laurenty achieves GDPR compliance and unified security with Check Point Software

A Check Point Software Case Study

Preview of the Laurenty Case Study

Laurenty Unifies Security to Comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Laurenty, a Belgian family group operating across Belgium, Luxembourg and France with €120M turnover and 4,300 employees, found its IT security stack in 2015 to be outdated and fragmented. The company was running multiple point products from different vendors, lacked global visibility, and needed a unified security standard across networks and endpoints to meet strict GDPR requirements coming into force in 2018.

With partner Shinka, Laurenty implemented Check Point Infinity: Security Gateways (5600) with SandBlast Next‑Gen Threat Prevention, SandBlast Agent and the Complete Endpoint Protection Suite, all managed via Check Point R80.10. The deployment delivers real‑time prevention of known and unknown threats (including anti‑ransomware and data recovery), full disk/media encryption and port protection for lost/stolen devices, consolidated single‑pane management and shared threat intelligence—giving Laurenty stronger protection and clear GDPR compliance.
