A Check Point Software Case Study
The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is a global non‑profit with offices around the world and roughly 70% of staff working remotely. As users shifted from dial‑up to public broadband in hotels and conference venues, IFAW began seeing worm and malware infections and unmanaged software on devices that connect to the corporate VPN, so the organization needed a secure, interoperable remote‑access solution that reduced administrative overhead and tightened endpoint controls.
IFAW deployed Check Point Endpoint Security, a single‑agent endpoint solution combining firewall, NAC, antivirus/anti‑spyware, program and data security, and VPN with centralized management. The rollout eliminated multiple security agents, simplified deployment and administration, allowed staff to safely connect from virtually anywhere, boosted productivity, and dramatically reduced malware incidents while providing unified end‑to‑end visibility and control.
