StrongPoint is a Norwegian retail-technology company that provides SaaS solutions for grocery retailers across 25+ countries, handling large volumes of sensitive customer and payment data across more than 20 locations and several domains. That distributed infrastructure and high-value data made employees and endpoints frequent targets for phishing, ransomware and other advanced threats, creating an urgent need to stop malicious emails and secure hundreds of endpoints.
Working with partner Advania, StrongPoint deployed Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration, Harmony Endpoint and the Zero Phishing blade to stop phishing and malware and to detect and remediate ransomware behaviors. The solutions were implemented quickly, blocked thousands of malicious emails and URLs, prevented ransomware incidents and reduced sophisticated threats from daily to a few per year—strengthening customer trust and helping the company win new business.
