How Stadtwerke Dinslaken Secures Its Fleet of Employee Mobile Devices

Stadtwerke Dinslaken is a 400-employee German utility supplying electricity, water, gas and heat and is subject to strict critical-infrastructure and regulatory requirements. Its biggest security challenge was protecting a largely unmanaged fleet of employee smartphones—supplied by Everphone—so mobile devices could meet the same desktop-class security and GDPR obligations without disrupting operations or overburdening IT.

SD deployed Check Point Harmony Mobile through Everphone’s zero‑touch provisioning, which pushed security configurations to devices during rollout and provided preventative network security, zero‑day phishing protection, URL filtering, sandboxing and AI-driven threat detection. The integration was fast and low‑touch, produced immediate alerts (including an unknown app vulnerability), preserved employee privacy, met compliance needs, and delivered robust mobile protection with virtually no impact on user experience.
