A Check Point Software Case Study
Explore St. Louis, the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission that markets the city and operates the America’s Center Convention Complex, faced a growing security challenge: as a public agency handling PII and hosting hundreds of events and hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, its small IT team had to protect a large external production network with many potential entry points (automation systems, IoT, Wi‑Fi), making comprehensive security increasingly daunting.
To address this, Explore St. Louis consolidated to a single vendor using Check Point’s Infinity agreement and deployed Quantum Security Gateways, Smart-1 Cloud, Harmony Email & Collaboration, Harmony Endpoint, and Infinity MDR. The consolidation delivered centralized visibility, real-time detection and response, predictable OpEx, and staffing efficiencies—improving security posture, reducing costs (avoiding new hires and disparate tools), and giving the team greater confidence and faster threat response.
