The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, a Houston-based healthcare provider serving more than 88,000 clients across 80+ locations, faced a complex security challenge: protect sensitive patient data and maintain regulatory compliance (including HIPAA) while supporting a largely field-based workforce, hybrid IT environment, multiple device types and numerous third‑party connections. As remote workflows expanded, the organization needed to broaden its security footprint beyond firewalls to secure endpoints, cloud services and email without fragmenting operations.
Harris Center adopted Check Point’s Infinity Enterprise License Agreement, upgrading to Quantum security gateways and extending protection with CloudGuard CNAPP/CSPM for cloud posture management and Infinity XDR/XPR for cross‑platform event correlation. The integrated solution delivered single‑pane‑of‑glass visibility, more accurate threat detection, prioritized remediation of the highest‑risk alerts and streamlined investigations—making the security team more efficient, uncovering threats they previously missed, and strengthening protection of assets, data and organizational due diligence.
