Enterprise Consulting Group Streamlines Security Management for Customers and Its Own Network with Check Point R80 Unified Security

Enterprise Consulting Group (ECG) is a 20+ year Midwest‑based professional services firm that delivers IT infrastructure and security support to customers with local and global operations. As a longtime Check Point partner, ECG needed to consolidate and automate management across physical and virtual networks, protect desktops, laptops and mobile users from malware, phishing and ransomware, and secure both customer environments and its own network while keeping administration efficient.

ECG deployed Check Point R80.40 with Quantum NGFWs and Check Point endpoint/SandBlast protections, using the unified SmartConsole, automation features (SmartTasks/APIs) and new IoT and VPN capabilities. The result was centralized, faster administration and upgrades from a single pane of glass, stronger prevention of viruses, ransomware and zero‑day threats on endpoints, and improved flexibility to meet diverse customer requirements.
