A Check Point Software Case Study
Askoll is an Italian multinational that designs and manufactures electric motors and Italian electric vehicles, with 11 plants and over 2,000 employees. As the business expanded into electric mobility, IT needed to protect employees’ mobile devices everywhere, prevent mobile security threats, ensure business continuity and simplify security management across global locations.
Askoll deployed Check Point SandBlast Mobile and Check Point Identity Awareness to enforce identity-based policies, monitor devices and block advanced and zero‑day mobile threats. The solution increased real-time visibility, cut the number of firewall rules in its Italian data centers (from 460 to 260), reduced time spent on security issues by about 40%, and enabled staff to work securely from different offices and devices.
