BH Telecom Consolidates their Security in the Cloud

BH Telecom, the leading telecommunications operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina with about 2 million customers and over 3,000 employees, was modernizing its digital services and needed to simplify security management while enabling scalable, cloud-based offerings. The company sought a single-vendor approach to protect its own infrastructure and to support a new security-as-a-service capability for customers as it accelerated digital transformation.

BH Telecom implemented Check Point CloudGuard IaaS (with local partner EMC) to provide multi‑layered cloud security across its VMware environment. The single-platform solution consolidated firewall, IPS, content filtering and antivirus, clarified the security roadmap, and made training and deployment straightforward (three engineers trained in one day). As a result BH Telecom established a unified security posture, deployed 20 licenses across internal and external clusters, enabled customers to self-manage security or receive managed services, and positioned itself to scale cloud services and revenue streams securely.
