A Check Point Software Case Study
An Australian non-profit with more than 3,500 staff delivering services like affordable housing, homelessness support and youth programs needed to securely deliver applications and data across the country as it moved to Microsoft Azure. The small IT team required a user-centric, scalable security model that could integrate with a custom Azure architecture—something the native Azure controls and static firewall rules couldn’t sustainably provide.
The organization deployed Check Point vSEC for Microsoft Azure along with Check Point Smart Management, gaining application-level visibility, simplified monitoring and consolidated logs across cloud and on-premises environments. The solution provided high availability across two Azure zones, reduced provisioning and configuration time (saving an estimated 100–120 hours), enabled secure access from any device, and allowed the non-profit to confidently expand its CRM and other services in Azure.
