Freshly Cosmetics, a Spanish beauty innovator, needed to maximize payments performance during its most critical sales period between Black Friday and Christmas. It began working with Checkout.com using the Checkout.com Prestashop plugin and then integrated the company’s unified payments platform to improve acceptance and prepare for peak season growth.
Checkout.com analyzed Freshly Cosmetics’ payment data, optimized retry logic, adjusted 3DS usage, and helped A/B test and route volume more effectively. As a result, Freshly Cosmetics raised its payment acceptance rate from around 89% to 98.54%, moved all volume to Checkout.com before Black Friday, and reduced payment disputes to zero.
