Checkout.com improves OSN’s approval rate by 5% with smart routing and local payment methods

OSN, the streaming and entertainment platform serving viewers across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and beyond, needed to protect recurring subscription revenue from failed payments and prepare for Mastercard’s 2025 ecommerce tokenization mandate in MENA. To improve payment performance, OSN worked with Checkout.com, using its acquiring capabilities alongside gateway and Intelligent Acceptance tools.

Checkout.com implemented Network Tokens, direct acquiring in the UAE, and ongoing payment expertise to optimize recurring transactions, reduce declines, and improve retry management. The result was a 3% overall uplift in acceptance rates, a 20% higher acceptance rate for tokenized versus non-tokenized transactions, and more than $5.5 million in additional processing volume for OSN.
