YIT, the technology arm spun out of Israel’s Yedioth Aharonoth Group, develops software and systems for major media and enterprise customers (including Ynet, Calcalist and several national organizations). Building and operating high-traffic news and e‑commerce sites exposes YIT and its clients to persistent, sophisticated cyber-attacks, so the company needed an automated way to find and fix code-level vulnerabilities across many languages and repositories.

YIT deployed Checkmarx CxSAST and integrated it with Git and TFS, enabling automatic scans across tens of projects and multiple languages (​.NET, Python, mobile, PHP). Implemented in under two weeks, the solution delivers automated reports to team leaders, enforces remediation of high-severity flaws before release, supports custom detection rules, and has improved vulnerability detection and secure-release practices for YIT’s most critical applications.
