Wiredrive is a cloud media-sharing service used by major advertising, entertainment and marketing teams, with offices in LA, NY, SF and London. Preparing for SSAE16 compliance and meeting enterprise client requirements, Wiredrive needed recurring penetration tests and static code analysis that could scan a large PHP/JavaScript/Python codebase (including a WordPress plugin) and integrate into its CI pipeline (Atlassian Bamboo and Git).

After evaluating options, Wiredrive chose Checkmarx CxCloud, which integrated with GitHub and was simple to use. CxCloud uncovered both known and unknown vulnerabilities, including in the WordPress plugin; Wiredrive uploaded its code, ran full scans, integrated Checkmarx with Bamboo, and now runs scans on every build. The QA team remediated deprecated and new issues, satisfying customer audits, improving security posture, and leading to expanded customer adoption and referrals.
