commercetools, a global commerce company and leader in composable commerce, needed a more reliable way to deploy and validate its Merchant Center applications. Before working with Checkly, the team relied on basic uptime checks and manual deployment verification, which made it difficult to catch service issues quickly and slowed down releases across multiple frontend teams.

Checkly’s Monitoring as Code platform, including the Checkly CLI, Playwright-based checks, API checks, and CircleCI integration, automated post-deployment validation and monitoring across 16 Merchant Center applications. With Checkly, commercetools increased deployment frequency from weekly to at least daily, cut issue detection time from more than 10 minutes to under a minute, and reduced setup time for new environments from 5–6 hours to 1–2 hours.
