A Checkit Case Study
Nanna Mexico, a restaurant business in Cambridge with three sites and 30 employees, wanted greater control over food safety after opening a second restaurant. Founder Luis Navarro said he could not monitor both kitchens at once and needed visibility across the business even when he was not on the premises. Checkit was installed to help monitor temperatures and keep records without relying on paper.
Checkit implemented 3 Memos and 17 wireless sensors across three sites, including two city centre restaurants and a warehouse facility. The installation was described as quick and simple, with no disruption to service, and the training process was straightforward. Since then, Nanna Mexico said staff work more efficiently, HACCP is easier to manage, records are completed without fail, and at least 20 minutes a day is saved by removing paper records.
