The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) is a not‑for‑profit professional association that advances rheumatology through education, research and advocacy. Faced with a high volume of member surveys that were being managed on paper or through costly outsourced vendors, ACR needed an easy‑to‑use, web‑integrated survey solution that could handle unlimited responses, reduce time and expense, and be hosted on their own servers.

ACR implemented Checkbox Survey Server, integrating it into their website and giving eight internal users control of survey creation and administration. The platform handled surveys sent to more than 4,000 people with ease, reduced staff workload, lowered costs, and provided reliable support; after nearly five years of use ACR reports ongoing improvements, greater efficiency, and plans to further customize the system for their membership.
