Wakefully, the startup behind MyDreamChat, wanted a cheaper and more scalable way to validate interest in its dream-analysis mental health concept. Founder Sansan Fibri needed an MVP that could attract users and investors without the cost and complexity of a custom app, so she turned to Chatfuel to build a no-code Messenger chatbot.
Using Chatfuel, Wakefully launched a conversational dream-analysis bot in about two weeks, using user attributes, sequences, and Facebook ads to create an automated funnel from click to analysis. The chatbot grew to more than 12,000 users in its first five months with under $5,000 in marketing spend, achieved a 6% click-through rate and $0.92 cost per acquisition, and generated an 82% satisfaction rate, strong engagement, and meaningful intent to convert to the future app.
