Summerboard, the electric skateboard brand LEIF Tech, was facing rising digital ad costs and growing customer acquisition expenses in a hyper-competitive market. To help address the challenge, the team worked with Chatfuel and its agency partner Fetch & Funnel to build a Facebook Messenger chatbot for product sizing and lead capture.
Using Chatfuel, Fetch & Funnel created a quiz-style Messenger bot that recommended the right board, delivered coupon codes, and supported follow-up messaging, while driving traffic through Click-to-Messenger ads, Comments Autoreply, and website Send to Messenger buttons. The result was a 320% increase in total sales within eight months, ROAS of 5x or higher, and a drop in CPA from $234 to $34.
