Can’t Stop This Party, a Taiwanese political party founded by YouTube influencers, wanted to boost voter participation among younger voters in the 2020 election. To reach millennials and Gen Z on the channels they already use, the team turned to Chatfuel and its Facebook Messenger chatbot platform, working with Chatfuel partner GoSky to create a more personal way to encourage people to commit to voting.
Using Chatfuel’s JSON API and One-Time Notification feature, the chatbot let users pledge to vote, share the campaign, and receive an election-day reminder with last-minute voting information. The campaign engaged 60,000 users and helped drive 40,000 people to confirm they voted, with a very low 0.7% block rate—showing strong interest and measurable impact from the Chatfuel-powered bot.
