Glaze Digital, a Belfast-based marketing and advertising agency founded in 2014, needed a better way to manage growing credit control demands as its ecommerce client base expanded. Directors Richard Megaw and Mark Kelso were spending time chasing late payments, which was awkward with long-standing clients, inefficient, and contributing to a build-up of overdue invoices.

Glaze Digital chose Chaser’s Outsourced Credit Control service, integrating it with Xero to give a dedicated credit controller access to up-to-date debtor data and handle chasing on their behalf. The result was faster payments, improved cash flow, and stronger client relationships: average days to pay fell from 88 to 64, and Chaser also helped recover old debts, including a £1,000 debt overdue by 18 months and £2,000 from a client that hadn’t paid in over two years, with a further £16,500 debt brought back into recovery.
