Booths, the upmarket supermarket chain, needed a fresh campaign for its annual Beer Festival to help showcase a growing range of independent, artisan brews. They turned to The Chase Creative Consultants for a creative promotional concept that could elevate the festival and make the beers stand out.

The Chase Creative Consultants developed a tongue-in-cheek campaign using four specially commissioned beers, with tasting notes rewritten to apply to both the beer and the brewers themselves. By pairing graphic beer imagery with black-and-white portraits of the brewers and overlaying the same copy across both, the campaign delivered stronger sales than previous years’ festival, prompting Booths to run it again the following year.
