BBFC worked with The Chase Creative Consultants to develop a new brand identity following a comprehensive repositioning. The challenge was to bring the new brand purpose, “choosing well,” to life in a way that felt more engaging, coherent, and distinctive while reflecting BBFC’s collaborative, inclusive approach to age ratings.

The Chase Creative Consultants simplified and modernized the iconic age rating symbols and used them as the foundation of the new identity across digital and print touchpoints. The shapes were animated and incorporated into photography, illustrations, infographics, and storytelling, resulting in a colourful, modern, and impactful visual system that better communicated BBFC’s “shaped by you” message and set the brand up for the future.
